I'm a strong supporter of racial unity and equality for all and desire to show ethnic and sexual
diversity in my cartoons. There are many situations where I might portray a character as a male, for
example, when a female could just as easily fit the bill. A character may be portrayed (either in a positive
or negative light) as caucasian, black, Asian, Hispanic or any other race. Obviously when I draw a character
I can only draw them one way and since my cartoons are marketed to publishers with varying demographics,
I can't please everybody every time. To simplify the matter I make this offer. If I submit cartoons to you
and you prefer to see characters of a different sex or a different ethnicity than
that shown, I will be happy to redraw that cartoon to suit your readership, and at no extra cost.
